Day 13 - Johann Howling Howliday Giveaway!

It's Frrrrriday? Happy weekend all!

We have more cool prizes to give away today! Today is the thirteenth day of Johann's Annual Howling Howliday Giveaway! There are still a few chances to win. So check back next week, we'll be giving away something every weekday thru December 24th!

On with the prizes....we have three contributors today who have donated some great prizes for our winner.

TrimDog has graciously donated one of their TrimDog Weight Loss Systems to some lucky pup today! When Ike and Anne Kinlaw saw their best friend Lily gain some unhealthy weight, they were off to seek out an effective and healthy strategy to help her shed those extra lbs. Unable to find a healthy alternative, they decided to create our own.

Under the guidance of Lily’s veterinarian, they established an exercise and nutrition program specifically for dogs that anyone can do without having to compromise a dog’s health.

The TrimDog Weight Loss System is a complete exercise and nutrition program designed for dogs to achieve an optimal weight that includes the TrimDog Weight Belt that helps your dog burn more calories per walk and increase lean muscle mass to boost metabolism; along with sound nutritional advice to help your dog be a slim, trim and healthy dog! For today, TrimDog is providing $5.00 off and free shipping on any TrimDog Weight Loss System you purchase from their website, just use code: HOWLIDAY.

Woodrow Wear is donating Two Pairs of Power Paw Canine Socks to today's winner!

Power Paws no slip socks for dogs have many uses…from preventing your older or senior dog from sliding on slippery floors (their primary indoor use), to paw protection for wounds or from very hot or very cold (snow or ice) surfaces, protecting your hardwood floors from scratches, and for fashion.

Power Paws are dog socks, not dog shoes, so they are easier to care for and frequently more comfortable for many dogs. Power Paws offer a unique solution to many pet-related issues and come in pawsome colors and designs.

Riverhead Books is donating the new book 'You Had Me At Woof: How Dogs Taught Me the Secrets of Happiness' autographed by author Julie Klam!

Julie Klam was thirty, single, and working as a part-time clerk in an insurance company, wondering if she would ever meet the man she could spend the rest of her life with. And then it happened. She met the irresistible Otto, her first in a long line of Boston terriers, and fell instantly in love.

'You Had Me at Woof' is the often hilarious and always sincere story of how one woman discovered life's most important lessons from her relationships with her canine companions.

From Otto, Julie realized what it might feel like to find "the one." She learned to share her home, her heart, and her limited resources with another, and she found an authentic friend in the process.

I still have that wish! You know the wish from the other day that every reader that reads my blog give just one $1 to our designated charity - A Place to Bark?

  2. Just have to say I love it all! I lost my elderly chocolate lab this week, and I wish I would have found those socks while he was alive. They would have been helpful on our kitchen floor.
