I just have to say a really big thank you!I am so honored and grateful - not only because the Southside Animal Shelter featured me in their May 2007 email newsletter today, but also because they found me and my family in the first place.
If the shelter didn't exist, I may not exist - and I wouldn't have such a great life with my Mum, sis Gracie and kittie brothers Wolfie and Wiggy. And Wiggy probably wouldn't be with us either, because he was rescued by the Southside Animal Shelter back in 1999.
They do good work. They are a no-kill shelter located on the south side of Indianapolis. In 2006, they found homes for over 1100 pups and kitties - when other shelters don't want them this shelter takes them.
I know there are so many shelters throughout the country that need help, just like my shelter does. And we hope you support those closest to your heart. If you have anything additional to spare, click on the link below and give what you can. I know they would appreciate it very much.
I am a foster mom for dogs and have been looking into volunteering with SSAS - thanks for posting info so that I could get an idea about what they are like! Great stories of your dogs, thanks for sharing and good luck in agility.
