Spreading the word - keeping cool dogs out of hot cars!

This morning I reaffirmed my pledge to keep cool dogs out of hot cars! See that's me with my "My Dog Is Cool" certificate!

I've been seeing way to many reports in the news already this summer of folks leaving their dogs in super hot cars, some severely injuring their dogs, others with pups that sadly didn't make it through the ordeal. I just can't fathom what it would be like to suffer in a hot car!!!

Can you help me spread the word?

I updated my Squidoo lens - Keeping cool dogs out of hot cars with new info and links to sites that have great ideas and materials for spreading the word! And while you're there why not take the pledge too, if you'd like!!! It's cool!

  1. The only time we get to go for rides in the car in the summer is if mom or dad waits in the car with us while the other one runs the errand! That's an important rule at our house!
This is wonderful information, Johann! We gotta stay safe, right?!

    Love ya lots,

  4. A friend of mine found a puppy in a very hot, closed up car. He and other people around open the car, it was unlocked, and got the puppy out, gave it water and got it in the shade. A police officer later spoke to the owner of the car and asked if she wanted to press charges for my friend "entering" her vehicle to Save the dogs life. What can my friend go to protest the policeman's action.. The owner was not given a ticket for cruelity What is that about???
