It's been cold on our mountain the past few days, and we had our first frost! Mum has her winter coat out and the leaves either are very slow to turn or maybe since all the rain we had this year, they won't be showing their true colors this year. Nonetheless, there are still leaves to rake. But in between raking, Mum and I enjoy the few and far between sunny spots in our yard till all the leaves drop.
The sunshine feels great when it's chilly out doesn't it?

ReplyDeleteBTW - Leaves have been staying on trees here too. Well, kind of on trees. The ones out front are all gone. The 5 trees in back? Still green and still hanging on. Strange year.
