Happy National Walk Your Pet Month!

This month, January, is National Walk Your Pet Month....time to get moving more!

We started off this month and this new year with a great three mile walk. This time we didn't walk in the mountains, but at the local town park.

We like the variety as it's level ground all the way, and much different than hiking inclines that we usually walk.

And Mum is feeling the difference today. We pulled, and pulled and pulled on our walk yesterday. Mum called it a super power walk for her and we finished the three miles in a little over 30 minutes. So she is a little sore today, BOL!

Me? Gracie? We feel fine. Pays to stay in shape Mum, like we do!

During our cool down ('cause the cool down process is important, you know) we took in the river at the park. It's the Ellijay River which joins the Cartecay River to form the Coosawattee River.

Looks like we may be getting a little snow tonight; and we hear that lots of our friends are going to get bitter cold and lots of snow! Stay safe everyone.

  1. We love our daily 2 mile walk but it didn't happen today and it won't happen tomorrow because wind chills are below zero and mom says it's too cold and dangerous to be out there. We hate missing out on our walks!

    Love ya lots♥
