In the spirit of the holiday season a special gift arrived at the Elmsford Animal Shelter in New York, when an a donor provided over 200 Kuranda dog beds for the comfort of the shelter pups.
The donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, had donated previously to the shelter and decided to help again after having a successful year in business.
The donated beds, manufactured by Kuranda, a Maryland-based company that specializes in cot-style dog beds made of materials such as metal, aluminum, fleece and vinyl, were ordered from the donor through the Kuranda's 'Donate a Bed' program. The program allows customers to buy beds at discounts if they are donated to a shelter.
