The IFCS World Agility Championships 2008 got underway today in Belgium. See my post from Tuesday for a list of those participating, as well as event information.
The USDAA website is working to provide updates as they come in. Here are the links:
First Day Results - Results are in for Power & Speed and Individual Standard (as of this posting). Individual Biathlon Jumping results are expected later today.
As of this posting Russia is leading the medal count with 8; the US is right behind with 6.
Today's Courses - Here you can see the challenging courses the competitors are facing today, including Power & Speed, Individual Standard and Biathlon Jumping.
Yesterday Practice - Janet Gauntt reported on Thursdays activities, including practice. You can see some pics and the practice drill course.
Karen Moureaux, competitor Kate's mom, is in Belgium cheering the team on. She left us a comment on Tuesday letting us know that she is taking photographs of the event and their sightseeing adventures. She's adding pics to her site throughout the trip. So be sure and stop by and see them, she's a great photographer! And the country is amazingly beautiful!
We have a trial this weekend, so we'll try to keep you up to date as much as we can. Be sure and stop back!
